– Standard Lens ISO: Under 400

*Note: For proper exposure with these LUTs, you will want to film with an 18% gray card around 49 on the IRE scale for Apple Log.
When comparing Apple’s default LUT to our Gamut BaseLUTs, you can see that the colors are highly saturated while also limiting highlight retention. Skin tones look awful.
With Gamut LUTs, we have optimized the skin tones to reflect the accurate colors they should be while allowing for more balanced truer colors. Also, we have dialed in our highlights to retain better information so that you can expand the dynamic range of your footage.

These LUTs are optimized for ALL our Gamut packs so you can get the foundational conversion LUT added before adding the other LUTs on top. We just recommend keeping the creative LUT’s dialed to 50%–70% or to taste for the best results. It’s important to not “bake” our creative LUTs into a LOG version, or else you’ll lose creative control and flexibility in post-production.

Rest assured that if you are filming on camera systems such as Sony, Panasonic, RED, DJI, or more, you will get consistent results when pairing Apple Log with other Log Profiles.
